Everyone associated with Midwest Schipperke Rescue and SchipperkeRescue.Net (and Ellen Black, too!) wish to thank everyone who supported our rescue efforts through their purchase of raffle tickets. Your generosity has resulted in the sale of over $2500 in tickets, which will be divided between the two organizations. We are so very, very grateful to all of you and we hope that the simple phrase "We thank you from the bottom of our hearts" truly conveys our feelings and sincere appreciation.
Midwest Schipperke Rescue and SchipperkeRescue.Net (SRN) are proud to combine their fund-raising efforts to offer a special raffle that will benefit the Rescue programs of both organizations. Midwest and SRN have IRS 501(c)(3) approval, and are extremely active in the rescue, foster care, and placement of Schipperkes who have lost their homes through no fault of their own. During 2007, both organizations were responsible for the placement of well over 100 Schipperkes. Together with the Colonial Schipperke Club, Midwest and SRN have formed a close working relationship that supports effective rescue and placement in the upper Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. All three organizations are willing team players and support all Schipperke Rescue organizations across the entire US and Canada. The proceeds from your purchase of raffle tickets will be divided between Midwest and SRN. The Colonial Schipperke Club is donating administrative support and website hosting for this very special raffle.
Rescue makes heroes of all of us ... some of whom are silent, while still making quite a loud noise. We are very grateful for the generosity of an anonymous donor who is very supportive of our rescue efforts. After adopting a Schipperke through Midwest. this generous person donated a brand-new, fully-loaded computer with printer and networking peripherals. The proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets for this computer suite will assure that we can continue to help Schipperkes in need.
The lucky holder of a single raffle ticket drawn during the week of the SCA National Specialty in Tulsa, OK (March 17-22) will win a computer suite valued at over $1,00000. Raffle tickets can be purchased directly through this website, and will be sold at the upcoming Specialty of the Schipperke Club of Greater St. Louis on February 29th in Belleville, IL.
You do not need to be present to win. If you order your raffle tickets through mail/e-mail, your tickets will be marked with your name and telephone number. You will receive your confirmation ticket stubs through the mail. The lucky winner will be notified immediately after the drawing, and the person's name will be posted in big, bold letters on this page and the home page of the Colonial Schipperke Club at www.schipperkes.org. If you attend the SCA National, you can take your new computer suite home with you. If you are unable to attend, be sure to include your telephone number with your ticket order. Your computer will be shipped to you at no additional charge.
